We've been identifying the pups by spots of white on their chests. Each pup had a different shaped spot, or in the case of the girls, one had no spot.

As anticipated, the white spots are starting to disappear as the pups change their coats. Pat, Rich and I didn't want to put colored collars on the pups, so we opted to put a spot of non-toxic paint on the bottoms.

Guess I can say I truly paint dogs now!

The palette is:

All the puppies are 11 weeks old and are about to go with their new families. The following pictures are shots we took of the pups on Christmas Day shortly before they left our home to begin their journeys in life. So bittersweet.
